Who cares whether this woman's hair is purple, is it really newsworthy every time the color changes? This is the problem with the struggle for compelling content sometimes. Editors get desperate for content and fill the day's news with this trivial crap. the weakness is shown when a particular medium does this in the area that they have no idea what is happening in the rest of the world and can't figure out topics for journos to write about.
